bbPress is going to be replacing phpBB.
The plan is that current phpBB forum will be archived 31 Dec 2014.
You will be required to register a new account for the new forum. This new account will also allow commenting on posts on the website. Which hopefully will see more regular use.
Posts on the AJAS website will also be mirrored automatically to FaceBook and Twitter
